Stretch Your Shoes with Ice!

If you have ever bought a pair of shoes that are too small don't bring them back! Try this simple trick to make them fit! Works best on leather shoes, this can work on fake leather but fake leather tends to shrink back to it's original size so you may have to do this often.

You will need:

  • 2 sandwich bags filled 1/4 with water;
  • A freezer;
  • Your shoes;
Method:
  • Place the sandwich bags filled 1/4 with water in your shoes.
  • Now, put the shoes in the freezer until the water turns to ice;
  • When the water has turned to ice leave your shoes to thaw for 20 minutes. Be patient!
  • Now remove the ice bags.
  • Try your shoes on to make sure they fit!
PLEASE NOTE: This method an make your shoes so that they are a 1/2 to full size bigger.

A Simple Lipgloss Saver!

Save your favourite and expensive lipglosses that are running low!

You will need:

  • A mug;
  • A microwave;
  • Water;
  • Any lipglosses you wish to save.

Method:

  • Pour your water into your mug;
  • Put the mug into the microwave until the water is warm NOT hot;
  • Place your lipglosses into the mug upright;
  • Wait for a good 10 minutes. Be patient-it's worth it!
  • When 10 minutes are up remove the lipglosses;
  • Notice how they are fuller than before!
How did this happen?

The warm water heated up the lipgloss which was clinging on to the container causing it to drip down to the bottom. Any lipgloss clinging to the sides is nearly impossible to get and usually ends up wasted! Use this trick and it will never happen again!

Immaculate Brushes!

I can not stress enough how important it is to regularly clean your make-up brushes! It sounds gross but there is so much grime, dirt and bacteria clinging on to your brushes and if you don't clean your brushes that's going to be going on to your face! This will lead to spotty and horrible skin! Here's a simple way to prevent this from happening!

You will need:

  • Extra virgin olive oil;
  • Anti-bacterial hand wash.
  • A bowl or plate.

Method:
  • Pour some of your anti-bacterial hand soap on to your bowl or plate:
  • Followed byjust a little extra virgin olive oil;
  • Then take your brushes one-at a-time astir them in the liquid;
  • Then, when you can see the dirt start to come of, rub back and forth on the back of your hand;
  • Continue the process with the rest of your brushes;
  • When fnished store your brushes facing downwards in a cup or glass.
